Ao longo dos seis primeiros meses do ano, os brasileiros consumiram 197,6 mil veículos importados. Um avanço de 37,7% sobre o mesmo período do ano passado, 143,5 mil unidades. Deste volume 78%, ou 42,3 mil, são produtos chineses.
Os dados foram apresentados pela Anfavea (Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores) e mostram que a China detém o posto de segundo maior importador de veículos para o Brasil, com fatia de 26%, atrás apenas da Argentina.
Boa parte dos veículos importados são elétricos e híbridos plug-in, tecnologias ainda não fabricadas no Brasil.
O setor reclama da entrada massiva e crescente desses veículos no país. Sem contar a queda das exportações (de 28,3%) frente à escalada das importações (37,7%).

Imports soar in the first half of the year driven by Chinese vehicles
Over the first six months of the year, Brazilians consumed 197,600 imported vehicles. An increase of 37.7% over the same period last year, 143.5 thousand units. Of this volume, 78%, or 42.3 thousand, are Chinese products.
The data was from Anfavea (National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) and shows that China is the second largest importer of vehicles to Brazil, with a share of 26%, behind only Argentina.
Most of the imported vehicles are electric and plug-in hybrids, technologies not yet manufactured in Brazil.
The sector complains about the massive and growing entry of these vehicles into the country, mainly due to the drop in exports (28.3%) compared to the increase in imports (37.7%).
