O início de algumas safras e a alta nas vendas de minério de cobre e de carnes fizeram a balança comercial se recuperar e registrar o segundo melhor superávit da série histórica para meses de março. A informação é da Agência Brasil.

O resultado é o mais alto para meses de março desde 2023, quando a balança comercial tinha registrado superávit de US$ 10,751 bilhões. Em relação a março de 2024, o superávit subiu 13,8%.

Do lado das exportações, a alta no preço do café e o início da safra de soja e de milho ajudaram a recuperar a balança. Com relação às importações, as aquisições de motores, máquinas, medicamentos, componentes de veículos, adubos e fertilizantes químicos subiram.

No mês passado, o volume de mercadorias exportadas subiu 5%, puxado pelo início da safra de diversos produtos.

Segundo o governo federal, as exportações subirão 4,8% em 2025 na comparação com 2024, encerrando o ano em US$ 353,1 bilhões. Já as importações subirão 7,6% e fecharão o ano em US$ 282,9 bilhões. Porém, as estimativas devem ser revistas em breve porque não consideram os efeitos do tarifaço de Donald Trump nem da retaliação comercial da China.

The trade balance recovers in March and the surplus is in the billions

The start of some harvests and the increase in sales of copper ore and meats made the trade balance recover and record the second-best surplus in the historical series for March. The information is from Agência Brasil.

The result is the highest for March since 2023 when the trade balance had recorded a surplus of US$ 10.751 billion. Compared to March 2024, the surplus increased by 13.8%.
