Empresas brasileiras que são certificadas como operadores econômicos autorizados (OEA) poderão exportar mais rapidamente e com menos burocracia para os EUA. Esse é o resultado de sete anos de negociações, que permitiu a Receita Federal assinar acordo de reconhecimento mútuo (ARM) com a aduana norte-americana.

Por meio do acordo, os dois países oficializam a parceria entre seus programas de operador econômico autorizado. Com essa iniciativa, ambas alfândegas reconhecem empresas que operam a cadeia logística internacional com garantia da segurança das cargas e as normas tributárias e aduaneiras. A adesão aos programas é voluntária.

Agora, organizações brasileiras certificadas como OEA-Segurança serão reconhecidas como empresas mais seguras e de menor risco. Com a maior confiabilidade, cairá o percentual de inspeções das exportações brasileiras para os Estados Unidos. Além disso, quando as cargas dessas empresas forem escolhidas para verificação, terão prioridade na análise.

Brazil and the USA sign an agreement to speed up imports and exports

Brazilian companies that are certified as Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) will be able to export faster and with less bureaucracy to the US. This is the result of seven years of negotiations, which allowed the Internal Revenue Service to sign a mutual recognition agreement (MRA) with US customs.

Through the agreement the two countries formalize the partnership between their authorized economic operator programs. With this initiative both customs recognize companies that operate the international logistics chain with guaranteed cargo security and tax and customs regulations. Adherence to the programs is voluntary.

Now Brazilian organizations certified as AEO-Security will be recognized as safer and less risky companies. With greater reliability, the percentage of inspections of Brazilian exports to the United States will drop. In addition, when loads from these companies are chosen for verification, they will be given priority in the analysis.
