O continente americano segue como o principal importador dos equipamentos de saúde brasileiros. Do total exportado no primeiro semestre, 65% foi destinado a países da região, sendo Estados Unidos, Argentina, México e Colômbia os principais destinos das vendas nacionais. O continente Europeu representou 23,45% do total exportado e Ásia, África e Oceania somaram 11,55% do total.

Export of medical equipment earns billions in the first half
Exports of Brazilian medical equipment totaled US$433.5 million, around R$2 billion, in the first half of 2023. The amount is almost 4% lower than that recorded in the same months of 2022 but still higher than in the pre-pandemic period of Covid-19, which boosted the sector.
The American continent remains the leading importer of Brazilian health equipment. Of the total exported in the first half, 65% went to countries in the region, with the United States, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia being the main destinations for domestic sales.
