O fim da dupla tributação entre o Brasil e o Reino Unido irá ampliar as relações comerciais entre os dois países e fomentar os investimentos bilaterais em importação e exportação. Essa foi a declaração da presidente da Câmara Britânica de Comércio e Indústria no Brasil (Britcham), Ana Paula Vitelli, em entrevista à CNN.
A presidente também destacou que a discussão entre as duas nações já se estende por algumas décadas, mas que o acordo está a poucos passos de ser aprovado.
Segundo um levantamento feito pela Britcham, com o fim da dupla tributação, 37% das empresas esperam aumento dos investimentos no Brasil, e 28% no Reino Unido.
Além disso, sete setores da economia projetam crescimento, com mais investimentos nos comércios de bens e serviços.
O acordo está em avaliação pela Receita Federal do Brasil, que realizará todos os estudos referentes a impostos antes que o projeto seja enviado ao Congresso. O governo brasileiro acredita que a tratativa seja aprovada ainda este mês.

The end of double taxation between Brazil and the United Kingdom will expand trade relations between the two countries and encourage bilateral investments in imports and exports. That was the statement made by the president of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham), Ana Paula Vitelli, in an interview with CNN.
The president also highlighted that the discussion between the two nations has been going on for a few decades but that the agreement is just a few steps away from being approved.
According to a survey by Britcham, with the end of double taxation, 37% of companies expect an increase in investments in Brazil and 28% in the United Kingdom.
In addition, seven sectors of the economy project growth, with more investment in trade in goods and services.
The agreement is being evaluated by the Federal Revenue of Brazil, which will carry out all the studies related to taxes before the project is sent to Congress. The Brazilian government believes that the negotiations will be approved later this month.
