O valor total das importações brasileiras de móveis e colchões aumentou 27,2% em 2024, na comparação com o ano anterior, segundo levantamento realizado pela Lemi (Inteligência de Mercado).
A China foi a principal fornecedora, 73,8% do total (mais de US$ 220 milhões). Em seguida vem Áustria (6,6%) e Itália (6%).
Segundo a Associação Brasileira das Indústrias do Mobiliário (Abimóvel), a predominância chinesa pode ser explicada por uma produção em larga escala, regulação e custo trabalhista reduzidos, além de incentivos tributários que tornam seus produtos mais competitivos.

Furniture and mattress imports grow by almost 30%
According to a survey conducted by Lemi (Market Intelligence), the total value of Brazilian furniture and mattress imports increased by 27.2% in 2024 compared to the previous year.
China was the main supplier, 73.8% of the total (more than US$220 million). Next comes Austria (6.6%) and Italy (6%).
According to the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association (Abimóvel), China’s predominance can be explained by large-scale production, reduced regulation, and labor costs, in addition to tax incentives that make its products more competitive, among others.
