No primeiro semestre deste ano, o Brasil importou o maior volume de fertilizantes já registrado pela série histórica, que teve início em 2011, segundo dados da Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab).

Matéria do G1 informa que a movimentação de mais de 13 milhões de toneladas foi beneficiada pelos preços bem remuneradores tanto do mercado internacional como do doméstico.

De acordo com a Conab, os produtores aproveitaram a troca favorável de alguns produtos agrícolas para realizarem compras antecipadas.

A maior parte das importações foi pelo Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul e Goiás. A Bahia dobrou o volume do produto no mesmo período.

A Conab também apresentou dados sobre o mercado de fretes, que passou por um desaquecimento no mês de maio, que já ocorria desde abril. A justificativa seria o período de entressafra, que gera menor volume de embarques.
